The Day of Your Newborn Photography Session

On the day of your session, you can relax knowing your baby is in expert hands. With years of experience in newborn photography, safety and comfort are always my top priorities.

Each pose is baby-led, meaning your newborn’s well-being determines the flow of the shoot. I create a calm, cozy environment so your baby can peacefully sleep or interact naturally while I capture those tender, once-in-a-lifetime details — tiny fingers, eyelashes, and expressions you’ll never want to forget.

Studio Props and Set Design

Our studio in Plainview, NY is fully equipped with everything you’ll need — blankets, wraps, bonnets, baskets, and props curated for newborn sessions. Each item is soft, safe, and meticulously cleaned.

If you have a sentimental item, such as a family heirloom or special keepsake, you’re encouraged to bring it. We’ll incorporate it tastefully to personalize your photos and tell your family’s story in an authentic way.

Viewing and Ordering Your Newborn Portraits

After your session, we’ll schedule a reveal appointment where you’ll see all of your beautiful images for the first time. This is one of the best parts of the process!

During this appointment, we’ll guide you through selecting your favorite portraits and choosing how you’d like to display them — from wall art and fine art prints to digital collections.

Our clients especially love our luxury leather albums and reveal folio boxes, which feature 5×7 prints matted to 8×10 fine art paper. These heirloom-quality products are handcrafted to last a lifetime.

Depending on your order, production of products takes between 2–6 weeks, and every product is carefully checked to ensure museum-grade quality. Digital downloads are available in approximately one week.

Newborn sessions are limited each month to ensure every family receives a relaxed, personalized experience. The best time to book is during your second trimester, as sessions typically take place within the first 7–14 days after birth.
