My private maternity photography studio in Plainview, Long Island was created for exactly that, a quiet, warm, intimate space where you can relax and be photographed without feeling rushed.
No shared studio. No crowded space. Just you, your family, and a thoughtfully planned maternity photography experience.
With private parking directly at the studio, you can walk in and have everything ready for you.
You don't have to figure out what to wear.
Together, we'll create 3 to 4 fine art maternity looks, each with its own feeling and style.
During your consultation, we'll talk about the colors, fabrics, styling, and overall aesthetic you love. If there's something special from your own closet you'd like to incorporate, we can include that too.
Your maternity portraits are created to feel timeless, feminine, and artistic, photographs you'll still love years from now.
For most maternity sessions, I recommend scheduling your session between 30 and 37 weeks of pregnancy.
This is typically when your bump is beautifully defined while you can still feel relatively comfortable moving through different poses and wardrobe changes.
Every pregnancy is different, so we'll choose the timing that feels right for you.
Your maternity session can be centered entirely around you, or we can include the people who are sharing this season with you.
If your partner or children are joining you, we'll plan their outfits and styling during your consultation so everything feels cohesive with your maternity portraits.
You can choose to include your partner, your children or a combination of individual maternity portraits and family photographs.
The goal is to create beautiful portraits of you while also documenting the people who are part of this chapter of your family's story.
Sessions range fro 1 hour to 3 hours with plenty of time to breathe between looks. The sweet spot is 30-37 weeks when your bump is perfectly round and those fabrics drape like a dream.
From your first inquiry through the moment you're choosing the images that will live on your walls, I'll walk with you through every step.
Maternity sessions can be scheduled on their own or as an add-on to your newborn session.

After booking your newborn session, we’ll have a phone consultation to plan the details of your maternity session.
During our consultation, we’ll talk about:
The overall look and feel you’re going for.
Your preferred colors, style, and aesthetic.
Maternity gowns and outfits available from my client wardrobe.
Pieces from your own closet that you may want to incorporate.
Outfits and styling ideas for your partner and children, if they’re joining the session.
This is where we create a plan that feels personal to you and your family.
You have a few options for getting camera-ready:
Option 1: DIY
You’re welcome to do your own hair and makeup at home before arriving at the studio.
Option 2: Professional Hair & Makeup
You can hire a professional makeup artist to come directly to the studio and get you ready for your session.
If you choose professional hair and makeup, we’ll coordinate the timing so everything flows smoothly before we begin shooting.

It’s finally time to capture your beautiful maternity portraits!
Once everything is settled, we’ll begin your maternity experience and capture a variety of beautiful portraits and poses.
3.
After your session, I’ll prepare your images and release a gallery of soft proofs for you to view.
These proofs allow you to look through your images and choose your favorite photographs.
4.
Once I receive your selections, I’ll begin the final editing process.
Your chosen images will be carefully edited and polished to create the beautiful, finished portraits we’re looking for.
Your finished gallery will be delivered to you within two weeks.
