Beautiful full newborn session for a gorgeous family. This is one of the examples of a full session. This session lasted approximately 2 hours. This family’s personal newborn gallery contained about 80 images. From there, they were able to choose their favorite 30 images. Each gallery presents all the images from the session with an option to choose your favorite digital images as well as purchase a variety of print items.
If you’re thinking about getting a full newborn session done… congratulations! This is such an exciting time in your life, and what better way to document it than with beautiful photographs that you’ll cherish forever? Here’s everything you need to know about full newborn sessions so that you can be prepared for your big day. What to Expect During Your Session First and foremost, full newborn sessions take place when your baby is 5-15 days old. This is because they tend to sleep more soundly and are more easily posed during this age range. The session will take place in my profession exclusively newborn studio, which is fully equipped with everything we need to get those perfect shots. I like to keep things relaxed and comfortable for both baby and parents, so please don’t hesitate to let me know if you need a break or anything else during the session. I want you to be as comfortable as possible! It typically takes 2 hours to complete the session, but again – no rush, we’ll take our time and make sure we get everything just right. What to Wear Since the focus of the photos will be on your beautiful new baby, I recommend keeping your outfit simple. I recommend wearing simple muted tones (muted tan, olive, grey, taupe, pinks, blues and etc) top or dress that will look timeless in photos, and I suggest avoiding patterns or anything too busy. As for accessories, less is definitely more. Posing & Props I love incorporating props into full newborn sessions! It’s so fun to play around with different textures, colors, and patterns. I have a variety of baskets, blankets, wraps, headbands, hats, and other props available for use during your session. If there’s something specific you have in mind or would like me to use, please let me know in advance so that I can prepare it for our shoot. I hope this has given you a better understanding of what to expect from a full newborn session! If you have any other questions or would like to book a session, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I can’t wait to meet your little one and capture these precious moments for you!
