I'm Alina, and I became a newborn photographer because I didn't get those dreamy, calm, timeless photos when I had my own babies.
When my third child was born in 2010, I was struck by how fast it all went. One day you're holding this tiny, curled-up new life, and the next, everything already feels different. I was exhausted, in love, and just trying to make it through the day - photos felt like one more thing to figure out.
With a background in art and a lifelong love for babies, picking up my camera felt like coming home. I wanted a way to hold onto not just how it looked, but how it felt.
Now I get to be the person who steps in and says, “I’ve got this!”
I'm a mom of four, a wife, and the photographer behind Babybare Photography in Plainview, NY. I never take for granted the trust families place in me during such a tender time.

When families inquire, they tell me they're nervous about the baby crying, or about looking tired, or not having anything to wear. But when they get their photos, they're always surprised by how calm it feels and how peaceful it looks.
The studio at 709 South Oyster Bay Road, Second Floor in Plainview is warm, quiet, and slow on purpose. As a Long Island newborn photographer, I follow your baby's lead. We pause for feeds, cuddles, and soothing. Nothing is rushed. For maternity and family portraits, every pose is guided from start to finish, so you're never left wondering what to do with your hands.
You don't need to worry about a thing. Gowns and styling are here for your maternity session, wraps and props for your newborn. You can sit back, relax, and let the rest be taken care of.
Many families travel to the Plainview studio from across Nassau and Suffolk County, and they tell me the session feels like a pause from the outside world. A moment to slow down, breathe, and be present during a season that passes far too quickly.
